What’s the difference between what we learn in college vs. what we need to know in our careers?
A lot! The primary goal of higher education is to learn critical thinking. That’s important. But critical thinking isn’t the sole workplace skill that will accelerate your career.
Classrooms aren’t workplaces. And most instructors or professors on any level haven’t been exposed to, nor do they fully understand, operating in a profit-and-loss environment.
My workshops, whether 1/2 day, a full day, or a complete weekend, put attendees on track to understand how to use their 4-year university education for their personal career benefit.
They’re based on my 22-years in university classrooms, during which I put textbooks aside and used my practical business-related stories and experiences to teach students what they’ll need to know to win their first jobs and to do their work successfully.
